Xenobe Purvis was born in Tokyo in 1990. She read English Literature at Oxford University, and has an MA in Creative Writing from Royal Holloway. She is a freelance arts journalist and literary researcher; her writing has appeared in publications such as 3:AM Magazine, Litro, The Independent, and the Glasgow Review of Books.
